PRIVACY POLICY
The Watchlist Network LLC
Last Updated: June 10, 2026
1. INTRODUCTION
This Privacy Policy describes how The Watchlist Network LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you visit or use our websites, social media channels, mobile experiences, and any other services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Services").
The Watchlist Network LLC operates as a centralized hub for multiple brands, including but not limited to Credit Watchlist, Entertainment Watchlist, Travel Watchlist, and Wedding Watchlist (collectively, the "Brands"). This Privacy Policy applies to all websites, domains, social media properties, and services operated by or under The Watchlist Network LLC and its Brands, whether such Brands exist now or are launched in the future.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use the Services. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms and Conditions.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last Updated" date and will be effective as soon as it is accessible. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect information in three general ways: information you provide to us directly, information collected automatically when you use the Services, and information we receive from third parties.
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
Depending on how you interact with the Services, we may collect:
Contact and Identity Information: Name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and similar identifiers, such as when you subscribe to a newsletter, fill out a form, register for an account, sign up for updates about a Brand, enter a giveaway or promotion, register for an event, or contact us.
Account Information: Username, password, and profile details if and when account registration becomes available on any of our Services.
Payment and Transaction Information: If and when we offer paid products, services, memberships, or packages, we or our third-party payment processors may collect billing name, billing address, and payment method details. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own systems; payment processing is handled by third-party payment processors subject to their own privacy policies and security standards.
Communications: The contents of messages you send us, including emails, contact form submissions, direct messages on social media platforms, survey responses, reviews, comments, testimonials, and other correspondence.
Event Information: If you register for or attend an in-person event organized by us or a Brand, we may collect registration details, dietary or accessibility needs you choose to share, emergency contact information, and photographs, video, or audio recordings captured at the event.
Service-Specific Information: If and when Brands launch interactive features, we may collect information you submit through those features, such as wedding planning preferences and details submitted through Wedding Watchlist, or travel preferences submitted through Travel Watchlist. We will provide additional notice at the point of collection where required.
We do not request, and ask that you do not submit, sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, financial account numbers, or health information through the Services. Credit Watchlist provides educational content only; any credit card application you complete occurs on the website of the card issuer or its agents, not on our Services, and any information you provide in such an application is collected by that third party under its own privacy policy, not by us.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit or use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
Device and Browser Information: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, language preferences, and mobile device identifiers.
Usage Information: Pages viewed, links clicked, referring and exit pages, search terms used to reach the Services, date and time stamps, time spent on pages, scroll activity, and other interactions with the Services.
Approximate Location Information: General geographic location (such as city, state, or country) inferred from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location through the Services.
Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies, pixels, web beacons, local storage, and similar technologies as described in Section 6 below.
Affiliate and Referral Tracking Data: When you click an affiliate link, referral link, or partner offer on the Services, tracking technologies may record that the click originated from our Services so that we can be credited for the referral. This tracking is typically performed by the affiliate network or partner using cookies or link parameters and may include a unique identifier, click timestamp, and the page from which you clicked.
2.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from third parties, including:
Social Media Platforms: If you interact with our content or accounts on platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, or Facebook, we may receive information consistent with your settings on those platforms, such as your public profile information, comments, and message contents you send to our accounts. We may also use messaging automation tools that process direct message interactions on our behalf.
Affiliate Networks and Business Partners: Affiliate networks, advertisers, and partners may provide us with aggregated or transaction-level reporting, such as confirmation that a referral resulted in a signup, application, approval, or purchase, so that commissions can be calculated. In most cases this reporting is aggregated or pseudonymous; where a partner shares identifiable information with us, we handle it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Analytics and Advertising Providers: Analytics providers and advertising platforms may provide us with demographic, interest, and engagement information about our audience in aggregated form.
Service Providers: Email marketing platforms, customer relationship management tools, form providers, and similar vendors may collect information on our behalf.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
Providing and Operating the Services: To operate, maintain, and improve our websites and content; to deliver newsletters, updates, and content you request; to process registrations, purchases, and event attendance; and to provide customer support.
Marketing and Communications: To send you marketing emails, newsletters, promotional materials, and updates about the Company and its Brands, including new Brand launches, where permitted by law. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us.
Monetization and Partnerships: To operate affiliate, referral, and partnership programs; to measure and attribute referrals; to receive compensation from partners; and to develop and present sponsored content and partner offers.
Personalization: To understand audience interests and tailor content, offers, and recommendations across our Brands.
Analytics and Improvement: To analyze usage trends, measure the effectiveness of content and campaigns, conduct research, and improve the Services.
Legal and Safety Purposes: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and governmental requests; to enforce our Terms and Conditions; to detect, prevent, and address fraud, security issues, and technical problems; and to protect the rights, property, and safety of the Company, our users, and others.
Business Operations: To administer promotions and giveaways; to maintain business records; and in connection with any merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business.
With Your Consent: For any other purpose disclosed to you at the time we collect the information or with your consent.
We may aggregate, de-identify, or anonymize information so that it can no longer reasonably be linked to you, and we may use and disclose such information for any lawful purpose.
4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, like most digital media businesses, some of our data practices, particularly the use of advertising and analytics cookies and the operation of affiliate links, may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain state privacy laws. Section 9 describes your rights with respect to those practices.
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
Within the Company and Its Brands: Information collected by the Company or any Brand may be shared across the Company and its other Brands for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, since all Brands operate under The Watchlist Network LLC as a single legal entity.
Service Providers: We share information with third-party vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, email marketing, messaging automation, payment processing, analytics, customer support, form and survey tools, and event management. These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us.
Affiliate Networks and Business Partners: When you click an affiliate link or engage with a partner offer, tracking information is shared with the relevant affiliate network or partner to attribute the referral. If you choose to apply for, sign up for, or purchase a third-party product or service, the information you provide to that third party is governed by its privacy policy, not ours.
Vendors and Service Providers You Engage: If a Brand (such as Wedding Watchlist) facilitates a connection between you and a third-party vendor at your request, we may share the information you provide for that purpose, such as your contact details and service preferences, with the vendor so they can respond to your inquiry.
Advertising and Analytics Partners: We may allow third-party advertising and analytics providers to collect information through cookies and similar technologies on the Services as described in Section 6.
Legal Compliance and Protection: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, enforce our Terms and Conditions, or protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or the public.
Business Transfers: If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of some or all of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient honors the commitments in this Privacy Policy or provides you with notice of material changes.
With Your Consent: We may share your information for any other purpose with your consent.
5. SOCIAL MEDIA AND THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
The Company and its Brands maintain accounts and publish content on third-party platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, and Facebook. When you interact with our content or accounts on those platforms, your information is collected and processed by the platform operator under its own privacy policy, in addition to any information we receive as described in Section 2.3. We do not control the data practices of these platforms and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
If we use messaging automation tools to respond to comments or direct messages on social platforms, the contents of those interactions may be processed by our automation vendors on our behalf, and information you provide through those interactions (such as your email address) may be added to our marketing lists with appropriate notice or consent.
6. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies, including pixels, web beacons, tags, scripts, and local storage, for the following purposes:
Strictly Necessary: Technologies required for the Services to function, such as security, load balancing, and remembering your preferences.
Analytics and Performance: Technologies that help us understand how visitors use the Services, which pages are popular, and how users arrive at our content, such as Google Analytics or similar tools.
Advertising and Affiliate Tracking: Technologies that attribute affiliate referrals, measure campaign performance, and may be used to deliver or measure advertising on or off the Services.
Functionality: Technologies that remember your choices and enhance your experience.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting cookies. Most browsers also allow you to browse in a private or incognito mode. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Services, and blocking affiliate tracking cookies may prevent referrals from being attributed.
Where required by applicable law, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies and will provide a mechanism to manage your preferences.
Do Not Track and Opt-Out Preference Signals: Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no industry standard for responding to these signals, we do not currently respond to them. However, where required by applicable state law, we will treat recognized opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for the browser or device sending the signal.
7. EMAIL MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS
If you subscribe to our newsletters or marketing communications, or provide your email through a signup form, social media interaction, or promotion, we may send you emails about the Company, its Brands, content, offers, and partner promotions.
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may opt out at any time, and we will honor opt-out requests in accordance with applicable law, including the CAN-SPAM Act. Please note that even after you opt out of marketing emails, we may still send you transactional or administrative communications, such as purchase confirmations, event registration details, or notices about changes to our terms or policies.
8. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide the Services, comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain business records. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the purpose of processing. When personal information is no longer needed, we will delete it, de-identify it, or securely store it and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.
9. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights with respect to your personal information. We will honor rights requests as required by the law applicable to you.
9.1 United States State Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of a U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law (including, for example, California, Florida, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and others), you may have the right to:
Know and Access: Request confirmation of whether we process your personal information and access a copy of it.
Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
Delete: Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
Portability: Receive a copy of your personal information in a portable and readily usable format.
Opt Out: Opt out of (a) the sale of personal information, (b) the sharing or processing of personal information for targeted advertising, and (c) certain profiling activities. As noted in Section 4, our use of advertising cookies and affiliate tracking may constitute "selling" or "sharing" under some state laws. You may exercise this opt-out right by using any cookie preference tools we provide, enabling the Global Privacy Control in your browser, or contacting us as described in Section 14.
Non-Discrimination: Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.
Appeal: In certain states, appeal our denial of a rights request by contacting us with the subject line "Privacy Appeal."
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
Florida Residents: The Florida Digital Bill of Rights provides certain rights to Florida consumers with respect to covered businesses. Regardless of whether the Company currently meets the statutory thresholds for coverage, we voluntarily extend the access, correction, deletion, and opt-out rights described above to Florida residents.
California "Shine the Light": California residents may request information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes without consent.
9.2 European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Other International Users
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, the following additional terms apply:
Legal Bases: We process your personal information on the following legal bases: (a) performance of a contract, when processing is necessary to provide Services you request; (b) legitimate interests, such as operating and improving our Services, marketing our business, securing our systems, and earning affiliate compensation, balanced against your rights and interests; (c) consent, where required, such as for non-essential cookies or certain marketing; and (d) legal obligation, where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.
Your Rights: You may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
International Transfers: The Services are operated from the United States, and your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as standard contractual clauses, or on your consent or the necessity of the transfer to perform our agreement with you.
9.3 How to Exercise Your Rights
To exercise any of the rights described above, contact us using the information in Section 14. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request, which may require you to confirm information we have on file. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf where permitted by law; we may require proof of authorization and verification of your identity. We will respond to verifiable requests within the timeframes required by applicable law. We do not charge a fee for processing rights requests unless permitted by law for excessive or repetitive requests.
10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information in Section 14.
11. DATA SECURITY
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These measures include limiting access to personal information, using reputable service providers, and applying security practices appropriate to the size and nature of our business.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security, and you provide information to us at your own risk. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for notifying us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.
12. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES
The Services contain links to third-party websites, offers, and services, including credit card issuers, hotels, airlines, travel providers, event ticketing platforms, wedding vendors, and other partners. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Any information you provide on a third-party website, including in a credit card application or booking form, is collected by that third party under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every website you visit.
13. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or business operations, including the launch or monetization of new Brands. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by applicable law, such as by posting a prominent notice on the Services or, where appropriate, contacting you directly. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
